vFRG

The Virtual Family Readiness Group (vFRG) site, connects you to a virtualcommunity created just for you, your soldier and the other Army family members in your soldier’s unit.

At this site you will be able to:

  • Exchange Information

Write short messages about what is going on in your life. It can be serious, it can be funny, it can be anything you want it to be.

You may not be able to meet them at the fence for coffee, but with the vFRG, you can create your own virtual neighborhood of family and friends.
  • Hear all the latest news

What do families most want when their soldier is deployed? Information. This is a great place to exchange information about what is going on in the unit. It is also a great way for the Family Readiness Group leader and Rear Detachment Commander to share information.

  • Post Pictures

Have a new haircut you want to show off? Is the baby walking now? Has your pet learned a new trick? Share it all in pictures with the rest of your Army family. Soldiers can also share pictures from their place of deployment.

  • Share news about special occasions

Is it your birthday or your soldier’s birthday? Are you celebrating an anniversary? Did your child just win the state soccer tournament? This is a great place to share special news and life events.

Participating is easy. Post a message for everyone to read by clicking the “Enter Forum” and typing your message into the simple form provided.

If you have any problems, or need any assistance, please click the “help” button and you will have a response within 24 hours.

Together with your Soldier, you will become part of a larger, vibrant, community of family and friends.
